Middleburg

Several weekends ago (I've been a little behind on blogging)... Luke and I went to Virginia. We stayed with Luke's Uncle Chris and Aunt Kate. They took us to the Middleburg Cup. This was one of the coolest things we've done on vacation. Picture a J.Crew catalog.... women in party dresses with big hats and champagne. Nothing like a Kansas City horse race! It was great people watching. Here's a couple photos from the race....

Spring?

I was so excited to see that my 3rd generation Hoya Vine has sprouted it's first bloom! Hopefully that means spring is just around the corner!! Here's the bloom. I can't wait to see the actual flowers!
